-Please make sure that all ballet shoes have the elastic strap attached and the shoe ties tucket in.
-Please remove the black ribbon ties on the black patent leather tap shoes and replace with black elastics.
-Dance sneaker laces should be tightly double tied for class.
-Any kind of taps are allowed on the tap shoes should a cobbler ask, unless otherwise specified by your instructor.
-The brand and design of pointe shoes depends on the student's particular needs. Pointe shoes should be fitted by a professional at a reputable dance store.
-Irish shoes must be approved by the instructor before purchase and use.
-Warm-ups (dance sweaters, leg warmers, wraps, etc) are allowed on the condition that they are removed should your teacher ask. Baggy T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweat pants and general street clothes are NOT considered warm-ups and are not acceptable during class. Students not dressed in the proper attire will be asked to sit out during class.
-Hair must be worn securely up and off of the face in the appropriate style specific to your class. Students are not allowed to fix and style hair during class.
-Please print your name in each of your dance shoes with a permanent marker. Jazziak's will not be held responsible for any lost or misplaced shoes.
-Any dress code additions that your instructor may enforce must be followed during class.
